What is clear tape?
Clear tape is an adhesive material usually made from clear BOPP plastic film and water glue (liquid glue). Clear BOPP film is made from PP plastic beads and is laminated into a thin, soft and tough plastic film usually with a thickness of 12 to 40 micrometers (referred to as mic). Normally, in the production of adhesive tapes, people often use BOPP film with thicknesses of 23mic, 25mic, 28mic (most use 25 mic). For a simple example, when a 25-mic thick BOPP film is sprayed with another layer of 25-mic thick water-based adhesive, we have a 50-mic thick layer of tape. Clear tape is widely used in packaging for businesses in the garment industry, food processing, confectionery, industrial production.
